I'm back at miniature making and trying something new!  As much as I love specializing in food, sculpting a human heart was a welcome change.

A Little Minty

Hey, everyone!

Yes, I am alive...and here are some mint chocolate chip ice cream cone earrings to prove it!  Of course, I have not been as productive as I wish I could be at this time.  However, I do hope to be able to incorporate some miniatures back into my life despite college... we will see how that goes!

A Little Shopping

Despite not being able to create many miniatures lately due to school, I was able to try something a little new.  The result was a mini shopping bag from Bath & Body Works!

This little piggy went to the market to be fattened by ding dongs, ho ho's, cupcakes, and twinkies.  Evidently, he has a sweet tooth!

Snowman Cookies

'Tis the season...for snowman cookies!  These miniature snowman cookies have been long in the making and are now available in my Etsy shop for sale.  (Note:  Currently, my Etsy shop is open on most Fridays and Saturdays for purchases.  Custom requests are always being accepted.)

A Bit from the Bakery

Here's a little yummy taste from my mini bakery...a few new cheese and cherry danish, cinnamon rolls topped with white icing, and sweet cinnamon raisin bread.  As always, it was fun to try something new and challenging such as these bakery treats!  These items are now available in my Etsy shop!

A Little Bit of Lush

Inspired by Lush handmade cosmetics, I decided to make some miniature handmade cosmetics.  Most of this tiny display contains soaps because they're the most colorful and interesting to see in miniature.

A Mini Taste of Panera Bread

Inspired by Panera Bread, I decided to create a miniature version of broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl with the Mediterranean shrimp couscous salad.  As I'm always looking for something new to try, it was a fun diversion.

Farmer's Market Scene

Since December, I have been working primarily on this miniature Farmer's Market scene in 1:12 scale.  After having spent many countless and tedious hours creating every item, I'm excited to see the fruits (no pun intended) of my labor come to life!

The scene includes fresh produce such as fruits and veggies, fish, canned goods, freshly baked breads, delectable pies, and more.  Enjoy exploring!

Prepping Mini Cookies

I was productive last week with some Christmas-themed miniatures, including cookies and a Christmas cookie prep board!  New cookies are currently underway, so stay tuned. :)

Something Minty

As it is already December and nearing Christmas, I decided it's about time to blog about something holiday-related...so here we have a peppermint gingerbread house with a little bit of shrubbery!

An Original...and a Replica

As a final piece to add the collection of miniatures that I gave to my cousin [see here], I have completed a replica of her wedding cake.  It felt good to make a cake again!

The miniature replica stands four (4) centimeters in height.
